Curaturae Showing in the Bay Area

Solo exhibition, We Are Family, opens the first Friday of December at Metalhaus Gallery in West Oakland, USA.

I am thrilled to share that my mother, Jane Dulay, has a solo exhibition opening December 3, 2021 at Metal Haus gallery in West Oakland. She paints people, not just from her family, and objects that are important to them, whether a piece of technology, their mask, or the spirit of an ancestor. Her work is personal to me, but also universal and relatable to many in how her images represent contemporary everyday life.

In addition, her work in this show is supported by numerous works from other artists, including myself. I, along with my collaborators Sunny Oh and Hiro Yamane, will have Curaturae set up, running, and displaying Jane’s artistic statement for the show. My brother, cousin, and friends have all contributed work too. If you are in the Bay Area, I invite you to come by. In addition to the art inside the gallery, there will also be comfort Filipino food outside provided by SALO Series.
